Social Media Community Manager

Job Summary
A Social Media Community manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers through channels like Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok. That passion comes through as you engage with customers on a daily basis. You will be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express New You Cosmetic Centres services, and culture creatively. This position is not a structured hourly position, you will have monthly targets and be responsible for the process of hitting your objectives. You will be in charge of executing on a strategy that is collaboratively created between yourself and other parties within our organization.
Job Description
As the Social Media Community Manager, you will:
● Create and post Instagram stories and feed posts that follow a strategy
● Engage with followers using live stories
● Create a Tik Tok Presence and posts
● Create Instagram reels
● Respond to communication through direct messages, comments, and overall communicate with our direct client base.
● Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
● Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience by the team
● Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure brand consistency
● Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, tools and applications
● Create content for social media as required
● Potential Influencer strategy
● Amalian Outreach Strategy
● Write and manage engaging content across all channels, including company website, social media, email campaigns and events.
● Review content metrics KPSs (ex. Open rates, click through rates, bounce rates) to measure overall effectiveness of content strategy.
● Oversee community management and engagement on all social platforms
● Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- A Degree from a university or college.
- A minimum of 1 year social media management experience
- Proficient in using Hootsuite, and other social media management tools
- Some experience using tools such as; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and Video editing software
- A keen eye for detail, and can create content using a mobile phone, or a DSLR Camera that we will provide.
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Have worked in a customer-facing role before IE: retail.
