**Technology & Innovation Strategy Advisor**

**All about Innovation and Partnerships**:
Members in the I&P team will play a key role in charting the future of Rogers. You will use your business acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills to help shape the future of telecommunications by conducting research, incubating new business models and solutions, engaging with key industry associations and leaders, and presenting long term strategies.

**What you will do as the Technology & Innovation Strategy Advisor**
- Collaborate on Co-Creation projects with our customers, researchers, and key industry stakeholders by using design thinking and agile development practices
- Lead new Product and Market exploration including Smart Cities
- Work with Research partners on leading edge 5G Research and identify new use cases and capabilities in IoT leveraging technologies such as Edge Computing and AI/ML
- Prepare executive level presentations that outline complex information in a simplified and concise manner that align teams around a defined strategy

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Participate in regular status meetings and submit status reports to track and report
- Ensure the development and execution of forums and events including Partnership Summits, student hackathons, case competitions etc
- Create and execute a regular cadence with stakeholders
- Leverage the design thinking methodology to lead user discovery with stakeholders in the public and private sector to identify opportunity areas for new 5G capabilities and use cases
- Build a pipeline of innovation: Identify, assess, prioritize and recommend innovative use cases and capabilities
- Align stakeholders under a defined strategy
- Coordinate test & learn activities, evaluating PoCs to determine areas of improvement and adoption
- Prepare executive level presentations that outline complex information in a simplified and concise manner

**What you will bring**
- Bachelor’s degree is an asset in Business, Design, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- 5+ years of related work experience is preferred
- Passion and knowledge of technology including: 5G, networking, data science, software development, cloud
- Experience leading projects using Design Thinking principles and Lean Methodologies
- Strong research capabilities, ability to synthesize multiple data points to come up with recommendations and strategies
- Project management experience with previous work using agile methodologies
- A core competency in building compelling executive level presentations
- Best in class writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in team setting
- Self-motivated, eagerness, and enthusiasm
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines, goals, and targets in a fast-paced work environment
- Self-motivation; comfort with ambiguity
- Creative; not afraid to explore white space ideas and new strategic concepts
