SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation is hiring for a Supervisor, Site Services - Trades.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Site Services, the Supervisor, Site Services - Trades, will be responsible for coordinating and supervising both construction and plumbing crews on new builds, as a well as routine maintenance around the mine site, as necessary.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all workplace rules, procedures and occupational health and safety codes.- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and schedule.- Plan and deliver clear daily crew instructions through well planned crew line up meetings, setting clear daily targets.- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met daily.- Work closely with crews to ensure they are properly trained for the task and fully understand the job, ensure all required materials are delivered to the job site in an organized manner.- Resolve problems as they arise.- Promote and lead a teamwork attitude with crews.- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople to develop a well-diversified crew.- Review daily progress with superintendent daily.- Supervise the safe use of machinery and equipment.- Ensure good housekeeping daily.- Monitor expenditures to ensure it remains within budget.

Your Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of construction and plumbing procedures and related equipment.- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.- Good problem-solving abilities.- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.- Ability to communicate and report effectively.- A good understanding of electrical.

Your Education and Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of supervisor experience.- Proven experience in the construction and plumbing trades.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 11-hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
