**Position Summary**

**The Assistant Manager is responsible for acting as a manager on duty during scheduled shifts and monitoring all positions to ensure staff is performing to expectations. The Assistant Manager provides the highest level of safety and services to all customers. In addition the operations manager is in charge of effectively streamlining Inventory, ordering, financial reporting, and weekly review of scheduling to assist the General Manager in optimizing labor cost, all with the goal of optimizing the cash flow of the business month over month.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Under the supervision of the General Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- Open and close the facility;
- Answer general phone inquiries, relay calls to the appropriate person, and return phone calls in a timely, professional, and courteous manner;
- Maintain and update all pertinent paperwork and computerized filing systems;
- Calculate total payments received at end of work shift and reconciling with total sales;
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility;
- Greet and interact with customers and visitors to the Company in a professional and friendly manner;
- Respond to all customer inquiries (e.g. pricing, hours, appropriate attire, directions, parties, fundraising opportunities, events, policies, general company information, etc.);
- Supervise and perform other job responsibilities as needed;
- Implement progressive discipline when necessary;
- Respond to customer issues, suggestions or complaints;
- Respond to customer injuries and complete incident reports as needed;
- Keyboarding and computer work; and
- Maintain and update all surveillance equipment and software.
- Completion of weekly Inventory and cost of goods sold
- Ordering of inventory items including, kitchen, party supplies, wristbands, first aid and review Cintas costs.
- Completion of Daily Reconciliation documentation and communicating errors to the General manager and subordinate management staff.
- Review of Scheduling to assist General Manager. Provide insight on payroll costing vs sales.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of one (2) year of experience in a management capacity;
- Completion of a high-school diploma;
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal);
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Accountable and dependable;
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently;
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Experience with File Maker Pro is or other database software is preferred;
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work;
- Valid Driver’s License;
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
- Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic; and
- Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks.

Working Conditions
- Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evenings or outside normal working hours;
- Able to work on a computer for long periods of time;
- Able to stand for long periods of time;
- May be required to drive on Company-business;
- Required to work in a busy, open area office which may result in constant interruptions;
- Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress; and
- Able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.50 per hour
