**North West Paving** is looking to hire **a labourer/raker** for our paving crew. We are a progressive, growing company that has operated in the Edmonton area for 50 years. We provide gravel, asphalt, and concrete services to Municipalities, General Contractors, and Developers in our community and surrounding areas.

Job duties and responsibilities:

- Assist the crews with labourer duties
- Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour
- Understand issues involving ground disturbance and implementing safe work practices
- Comply with all safety policies and participate in any training NWP deems necessary for the position
- Able to work in all weather conditions

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in road construction
- Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time is required
- Must be available to work weekdays and weekends
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to commute to job sites

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Paving: 2 years (preferred)
