Job Description - Halifax Retail Manager & Sales Support Boxing Rock Brewing Company is the largest small craft brewery in Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking an extraordinary person for a multi-faceted role based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a unique opportunity to be actively involved in retail, communications and sales with our growing company. As part of your role, we would expect you to: - Manage our Halifax retail location and provide in-person customer service as a Craft Beer Guide during growler filling hours - Coordinate community outreach and outbound communication including social media from our Windsor St location including our Legendary Growler Club - Coordinate licensee customer outreach including collaboration brew day experiences at the Boxing Rock Halifax Small Batch Brewery - Assist with management with sales process development and testing including development of communication materials - Assist sales team with qualification and categorization of leads in the licensee channel - Monitor our Halifax Small Batch nanobrewery and assist brewers with cellaring and packaging activities - Assist our Home Delivery Coordinator including contacting customers to arrange delivery, packing orders, and helping to coordinating our home delivery driver(s) - Manage inventory for Halifax Retail and Home Delivery including moving kegs and cases of beer weighing up to 20 kg - Coordinate in-store promotions and displays - Supervise part-time retail staff and ensure all shifts are scheduled - Complete POS reconciliations and cash deposits - Focus on customer experience and create Boxing Rock superfans through this channel - Any other duties assigned by management Boxing Rock values the diversity of the people it hires and serves. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record and 6 years driving experience is an asset.
