**Requirements**:
**Lead Qualification**

Act as backup to the Business Development Representative, as needed:

- Assess and respond to new leads as per Q&C processes, providing them with qualifying questions and/or information, as applicable;
- Prepare and send confidentiality agreements on Q&C templates; and
- Coordinate with SMEs to prepare and provide clients with ballpark estimates/budgets for desired services

**Proposal Writing and Sales Coordination**
- Move opportunities through the sales cycle from initial discovery call to project signing in a timely manner;
- Liaise between the client and SMEs to ensure all customer requirements are met;
- Lead sales calls, present information regarding services and obtain information required for the sale (in collaboration with applicable SME), book follow-up meetings, and capture notes and any actions from the calls;
- Revise and develop new proposal templates and other sales tools;
- Revise and develop sales work instructions;
- Provide suggestions for sales process improvements
- Follow up on opportunities following the discovery call;
- Prepare budgets, and other sales documents, as needed;
- Refer opportunities to strategic partners;
- Prepare agreements to support strategic partnerships on Q&C templates (e.g., memorandum of agreement); and
- Draft price increase documentation in collaboration with SMEs and finance (letters, amendments, etc.).

**Sales Administration**
- Maintain Dynamics 365 CRM with project/opportunity details, including revenue, call notes and tasks;
- Use resources (LinkedIn, CRM, Outlook, etc.) to fill gaps in client information (Business address, primary contact, etc.);
- Intake new leads and address questions that come to the sales call line; and
- Act as a backup to the Technical Sales Assistant, as required (i.e., scheduling sales calls and performing other administrative duties related to sales).

**Lead Qualification**
- Act as backup to the Business Development Representative, as needed:

- Assess and respond to new leads as per Q&C processes, providing them with qualifying questions and/or information, as applicable;
- Prepare and send confidentiality agreements on Q&C templates; and
- Schedule discovery calls.

**Sales Meetings & Metrics**
- Update & maintain scorecards/trackers related to sales metrics; and
- Assist with sales meeting preparation, as required

**Marketing Coordination**
- Liaise with Leadership and marketing contractors to ensure marketing campaign activities
- are completed as per the schedule (e.g., mailers and other tasks)
- Post on company LinkedIn page as per schedule and tracker;
- Update & maintain marketing trackers, as required; and
- Coordinate marketing events, as required.
- Liaise with marketing contractors to ensure website is updated as per marketing initiatives;
**Information Technology**
- Minimize risks to IT security and promptly report any potential IT security issues.

**Special Projects**

Specific projects as assigned by Leadership team.

**Experience, Education and Training**
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a scientific field;
- Experience: At least 2-5 years of sales coordinating or similar experience; experience in the pharmaceutical or other technical industry is an asset;
