We are seeking a motivated and strategic Director of Parts to oversee our parts operations.

The primary objectives of this role are to grow our parts revenue and expand our diversity of offerings to our customers. The secondary objectives are to provide a consistent parts experience across our specialities (automation, irrigation, and controls) and provide exceptional value for our customers. Additional responsibilities include employee development and retention, managing department KPIs, and continually reassess our platform to ensure we always offer excellent service.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Customer Service Leadership**
- Develop and implement parts department customer service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee all parts operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Implement, monitor, and analyze parts KPIs to identify areas for improvement.

**Revenue Growth**
- Identify and implement opportunities for revenue growth within the parts department.
- Develop and manage parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and profitability.

**Employee Development and Retention**
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing parts team.
- Implement training programs to enhance team skills and career development.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.

**Managing Customer Expectations**
- Set and manage customer expectations regarding parts availability and delivery times.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.

**Supplier Relations**
- Collaborate with overseas factories and local engineers and designers to establish accurate bills of material, consumable parts lists, and critical parts lists.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient procurement of parts, maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a Senior parts management or supply chain role.
- Strong understanding of parts management principles and practices.
- Experience in the horticulture industry, preferred.
- Familiarity with Service Cloud, Microsoft Great Plains, and Genius ERP is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
