**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will support various operations within the shop, ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- General customer service (answering phones, writing up job orders, helping walk in customers with minor requests).
- Operate a variety of printing and finishing equipment (digital printers, cutting machines, plotters and various bindery equipment).
- Assist in the fabrication and occasional installation of large format signage.
- Package finished products for shipment and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Some heavy lifting, up to 25lbs, may be required.
- Other office/warehouse duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in English (oral + written).
- Conscientious: Able to adapt to changing work flows.

**Assets**

Prior knowledge / experience in the following are assets but not requirements. We are willing to train the right person.
- Knowledge of graphic design and Adobe software such as InDesign, Illustrator + Photoshop.
- Experience working on both MAC and PC platforms.
- Previous print and/or large/wide format presses knowledge/experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills e.g. working well with others, communication, positive attitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
