**Digital Marketing Specialist**

Bodwell High School is an independent boarding school in North Vancouver committed to academic excellence, character development, and global-minded education, with students from all over the world.

We are seeking an experienced on-site **Digital** **Marketing Specialist** to join our Media Team to support student recruitment efforts and play a critical role in advancing our institution’s reach. This individual will work to ensure the school’s digital content and platforms are professional and consistent with our branding, and well-suited to each individual student market (both domestic and international).

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing digital content and executing advertising strategies. This role requires an individual with proven expertise in digital marketing and a deep understanding of how to communicate effectively within an academic context.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Digital Content Development**: Oversee the creation and optimization of digital content, including newsletters, website updates, blog posts, and promotional graphics. Ensure all content aligns with Bodwell’s values, maintains high quality, and is reflective of the school’s brand.
- **Copywriting**: Write, edit, and proofread SEO-friendly digital and web content to support the school’s voice, maintain brand consistency, and appeal to our audiences.
- **Advertising Campaigns**: Lead the planning, development, and execution of advertising campaigns, spanning both print and digital formats. Serve as contact for advertising efforts to maintain consistency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or media relations, preferably within an academic or private school environment.
- Familiarity with digital tools/platforms such as Mailchimp, Finalsite, Google Analytics, some HTML programming.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc., and experience in graphic/art design and photography.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in managing comprehensive digital campaigns and working directly with media, analyzing campaign effectiveness through results.
- Familiarity with international media platforms (e.g. WeChat) and other world languages is an asset.
