**Position Title: Sales Associate** **Location: Brampton, ON** **Reports to: National Account Manager - Home Improvement** **Position Overview**: The Home Hardware Sales Associate role will manage the day-to-day operations of select brand(s), supporting the Home Improvement Channel in Canada. The primary focus of this role will be growing selected brand(s) through various business driving activations, presentation management, analysis, and active support of the overall retail sales business(es). **Key responsibilities**: - Directly manage key customer(s) and work collaboratively with Channel team to effectively manager customer portfolio and retail sales result - Manage execution of product portfolio of branded products (Price, Placement, Promotion, portfolio development - Execute business objectives which will achieve sales growth across the account - Promotional account support including promotional review, inventory management, tracking and submission - Using internal budget management tools to help submit, track and review business plans, and updating product costs and discrepancies resolutions - Coordinate with customer management team to proactively monitor purchase orders and take corrective actions - Monthly/weekly/quarterly reconciliation of business invoicing and invoice approvals - Entering and updating product/promotional information into Customer Portals - Completing ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as necessary **Qualifications**: - BS/BA or University degree in Business, similar field or equivalent work experience - Selling experience within consumer products, preferably across multiple brands - Proven ability to deliver results and manage multiple priorities - Detail-oriented, operationally focused with a passion for speed and simplicity - Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and commitment to teamwork and customers - Some Travel required depending on Customer location/Annual Sales Meeting - If you feel you need accommodation because of illness or disability, please do not hesitate to contact Human Resources at 289-291-5600 at your earliest convenience.
