**Floor Sales Associate**
My Sewing Room Inc. seeks a dynamic and engaging sales professional to join our team. As Canada's largest independent sewing and quilting shop, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with the latest sewing/embroidery machines, fabrics, and notions.

Role Overview:
The Sales Associate will collaborate with team members to deliver machine demonstrations, facilitate machine sales, manage fabric picking/cutting, operate the sales system/register, and assist our clients in their creative journey. Responsibilities include lead follow-up, addressing inquiries about all store products, and participating in product training. This role emphasizes machine sales, constituting approximately 60% of our annual revenue. The position operates within a team commission and sales targets.

Position Details:

- Full-time, Permanent
- 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday
- Starting compensation: $16 per hour for 3-month training period. A wage increase will be based on performance and attitude.

Qualifications:

- No prior experience with sewing machines required
- Eagerness to learn about various machines, accessories, and notions
- Physical ability to lift 25kg
- Capability to stand or sit for extended periods

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
