We’re looking for a skilled manual, mechanical **Assembly Technician**. If this is you, read on

**What You’ll Do**:
As an Assembly Technician, you’ll work under the direction of a supervisor to assemble, test, and troubleshoot industrial fans. You’ll collaborate with the assembly team to ensure each product meets quality standards and is built to spec.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts using **hand and power tools**:

- Align, position, and fasten parts together using bolting, riveting, or other fastening techniques
- Connect cables and wires and perform basic electrical component assembly
- Use pallet jacks to move materials (Forklift license is an asset)
- Read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, and specifications
- Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues
- Support other duties as assigned by your supervisor

**What You Bring**:

- High school diploma (Grade 12 minimum)
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar assembly role
- Prior **work assembling industrial fans, fan parts, HVAC equipment or similar**:

- Strong **English communication** (verbal and comprehension) skills
- Ability to read and understand assembly and **schematic drawings**:

- Strong problem-solving and measurement skills
- Exceptional **attention to detail**:

- Capable of maintaining focus & efficiency while standing for long durations at a **workbench**:

- Able to work independently or collaboratively on larger projects
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
- Electrical assembly experience and knowledge of electric motors considered an asset

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:00

**Salary**: $24-$26/hour
