We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality food, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting culinary innovation through teamwork and consistency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare all food items according to established preparation and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary production area and follow all food safety and WHMIS regulations
- Adhere to personal hygiene standards and all sanitary codes
- Help manage food and labour costs by following chef-assigned duties
- Communicate with restaurant staff, line cooks, and the Food Services Manager to support guest satisfaction
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and items are properly stored and labeled
- Maintain professionalism and stay aware of current culinary trends
- Take full responsibility for the kitchen when the Chef is absent, including cleanliness and purchasing
- Participate in banquet and outlet service, and build strong working relationships within the team
- Contribute to menu planning by reviewing seasonal availability and current sales performance
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Chef, Director of Operations, or General Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **4 years of experience** in a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and lead the kitchen in the Chef’s absence
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Understanding of WHMIS and food production regulations
- Flexibility to support both banquet and restaurant service as needed
