Reporting to Supervisor, Processing, as the Process Technician - Grit Blast, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule for grit blast on all programs.

Work shift: Weekend Days Shift (Friday - Sunday - 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Grit blasting of aircraft components in preparation for plating/painting
- Part fixturing, loading and unloading
- Participate in lean initiatives (i.e. 5S, TPM, process improvement teams)
- Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Minimum Grade 12 diploma along with 2 years previous experience
- Prior grit blast machining experience would be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to lift 40 lbs
- Strong understanding of WHMIS
- Demonstrated ability to work as a cross-functional employee
- Previous formal crane training is required
- Ability to work a weekend shift (Friday - Sunday - 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
