**Job Description**:
Your primary focus will be the recruitment and selection of the best available talent through traditional strategies and sources, while creating innovative recruitment initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement initiatives for recruiting diverse talent
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals within the shop and office
- Use job portals extensively and efficiently
- Develop and/or update job descriptions, job postings and advertisements
- Represent Canam Group at job fairs, special events and career days as requested
- Provide guidance and advice to management and staff on recruitment and selection issues
- Support the management team in planning efforts related to staffing levels and requirements
- Verify references, conduct background and medical checks, and create and present job offers
- Participate in the onboarding process
- Maintain up-to-date reports and statistics related to staffing
- Conduct exit interviews and report trends to management
- Perform and participate in other projects and tasks as requested
**Qualifications**:
- 1-3 years’ previous experience in full cycle recruitment
- Experience recruiting in the manufacturing/steel fabrication industry is an asset
- Familiarity with SmartRecruiter or similar Applicant Tracking System
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, with a CHRP designation preferred
- Good listening and analytical skills
- Strong sense of autonomy and problem-solving
- Exceptional networking, relationship building and organizational skills
- Demonstrated versatility with a solid ability to adapt and manage stress
