**Who we are looking for?**

we are looking to hire a **Hand** **Sander** in our finishing department. If you have a true passion for woodworking and an appreciation for fine craftsmanship come join us

**Responsibilities**:

- Sanding wood cabinet components; cabinet doors moldings that make up the components for kitchen cabinets in preparation for stain/paint finishing and sanding between paint coats.
- Other duties may include assisting paint machine operators and general housekeeping.
- Putting cabinet doors through various sanding machines.
- Final sand with hand-held orbital sander/Final Quality inspection.
- Assisting the spray technician in loading and offloading the spray line.

There is an opportunity for further training in operating an automatic spray booth system, hand spraying, and finishing wood products.

**Requirements**:

- Bend and lift 50+ pounds of parts depending on customer orders
- Utilize standard inspection instruments and record quality-related data
- Grip, handle and lift above the shoulder
- Previous experience in sanding and/or finishing and have an eye for detail.
- Work independently after training to perform assigned tasks
