G&H Cabinetry and woodworks is looking to hire a **cabinet finisher** and **Sander** with a solid background in all aspects of finishing in a woodworking shop.
- G&H Cabinetry and Woodworks is a family-owned custom cabinetry company located in Cambridge ON, our shop is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery that allows us to build the highest quality custom kitchens and we complete all the finishing in-house, with a strong focus on quality. We work with solid woods for stains and MDF for painted projects._

**General Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for sanding and prepping raw material, ie: cabinet doors, panels, trim, and mouldings in preparation for spraying.
- Must have high attention to detail, good hand/eye coordination - Able to work on repetitive tasks, daily
- Positive attitude, great communication skills - Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to work with a team to accomplish production goals
- Responsible for maintaining paint equipment including all spray guns, tips and lines and changing paint booth filters as needed. Booth and finishing area must be kept clean.
- face mask (rasparator) must be worn at all times while sanding and painting.

**Physical Effort**

Physical effort is required for working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, performing a variety of finishing tasks. A typical day consists of a combination of extended standing, walking, bending, pulling and pushing with sitting being only during break times. Often lifting to 20 pounds is required.

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday (9 am-5 pm)

overtime is optional if needed.

**Experience**:

- woodworking finishing: 2 years

salary:
18$ - 24$ will be determined based on experience.

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
