We are seeking a dynamic team player who, like us, is passionate and strives to help pets live life to the fullest. The Animal Rehabilitation Assistant plays a major role in supporting our practitioners/therapists and the daily operations of the clinic. Responsibilities and duties include:

- handling patients in a safe manner during treatments
- assisting with various modalities under supervision such as hydroftherapy, prescribed exercises, laser therapy, etc.
- drying pet's in a safe and efficient manner following hydrotherapy
- creating digital exercise programs
- assisting practitioners with note taking/charting
- day to day cleaning/disinfecting and facility maintenance
- ensuring safe and effective flow of the clinic
- helping with front desk tasks as needed

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- education (e.g. diploma or certificate) in animal care and/or physiotherapy (e.g. veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, physiotherapy assistant)
- experience working with pets (primarily canines and felines) in a professional setting
- experience in animal rehabilitation or hydrotherapy considered a very strong asset
- comfortable handling animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- good physical stamina (many tasks are physically demanding)
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
- good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- good team player with the ability to take iniative and work independently
- willingness to learn and develop

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
