**What you'll do**
Under the direction of the Manager of Automotive Operations, Operations Support is responsible for working amongst the automotive operations team to aid in developing customer focused best practices and programs for stores nationally to deliver the highest results in automotive operations.
The Operations Support person is a key contributor to the development of automotive operations strategies in stores and will also be supporting our automotive field team (ABSMs) in delivering these strategies to achieve our vision to becoming Canada’s Automotive Authority.

- Work on various projects to improve automotive operations in stores across Canada which will increase automotive sales and customer satisfaction
- Provide support for field concerns, analysis, projects and presentations for automotive field team.
- Generate and distribute ad hoc reports on KPIs and business performance statistics, and communicate key information about the Automotive Division to senior management, the field team, and Dealers.
- Develop, design and distribute internal facing and Dealer facing communications for new program initiatives and sales driving strategies. Communication includes WebEx administration, weekly newsletters, and SharePoint site creation and maintenance.
- Update and maintain Access database issue log for field inquiries for effective operations and procedures
- Provide input to team objectives and plans
- Be the central contact person for all auto service communications with stores and various teams for any/all scheduled/ad hoc and projects
- Complete ad hoc projects that would include internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Support Dealer Convention requirements
- Manage Vendor activity coordination with projects while maintaining an ongoing relationship
- Analyze and assess data on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to determine the effectives of new programs or promotions. Support and facilitate the implementation of new promotions or action plans that would improve automotive performance in stores.
**What you bring**
- Post Secondary degree in a related field of study
- A passion for automotive business and customer service
- Ability to work individually and/or as part of a team
- Ability to analyze root causes of operational malfunctions and provide resolution
- Ability to evaluate current operational processes and recommend process improvements to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ability to analyze, assess and provide insights from business data
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain newsletters, presentation decks, manuals, process documents, quick reference guides and other related resources
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Canadian Tire Corporation environment and inter-related businesses is an asset.
