We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Apprentice and train under our experienced technicians.
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to launch a career in the automotive industry, working specifically with prestigious marques. As an Automotive Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in a clean, professional environment. Your primary qualities must be a relentless willingness to learn and an exceptional attention to detail, as the standards for working on these vehicles are extremely high.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and Master: Shadow and assist senior technicians with a variety of tasks, learning everything from routine maintenance (oil changes, brake service) to complex diagnostics and repairs.
- Meticulous Assistance: Provide support that requires a high level of precision and care, such as cleaning, organizing tools, disassembling/reassembling components, and ensuring all parts are handled appropriately.
- Shop Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This includes keeping tools and equipment in excellent condition.
- Documentation: Assist with the accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and time spent on services.
- Embrace Feedback: Actively seek feedback, demonstrate a proactive attitude, and commit to continuous improvement in all tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Attitude is Everything: A strong, demonstrable desire to learn the automotive trade and build a long-term career.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: The ability to notice subtle differences, follow procedures exactly, and understand that precision is non-negotiable when working on high-value vehicles.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge or prior experience (formal or informal) working on cars is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Reliability & Professionalism: Punctual, dependable, and capable of maintaining a professional demeanor with team members and customers.
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks required in a shop environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Enrollment or completion of a vocational automotive program is a plus.
