**Job Summary**
Join the trusted **Jerry Zister's NAPA Autopro Repair Center** in Kitchener as an **Automotive Service Advisor** and play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact, you will interact with customers to assess their vehicle needs, explain necessary repairs, and provide accurate estimates for services such as maintenance, brake repairs, wheel alignment, air conditioning services, and more. You will ensure smooth communication between our skilled technicians and customers, all while delivering a positive and professional experience. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for automotive repair are key to succeeding in this fast-paced, customer-centric environment. **Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Customer Interaction:_
- Listen to customers’ concerns, assess their vehicle issues, and document all relevant information.
- Provide clear and professional explanations of needed repairs, services, and costs.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Vehicle Assessment and Service Recommendations:_
- Evaluate customer needs based on vehicle symptoms, routine maintenance schedules, and previous service history.
- Recommend services such as oil changes, brake repairs, diagnostics, tire services, alignment, and air conditioning maintenance.
- Scheduling and Coordination:_
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and ensure timely service delivery.
- Strong multitasking ability, managing multiple service orders and customer inquiries at once.
- Schedule appointments for vehicle inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance.
- Coordinate with technicians to assess the time required for vehicle services and communicate realistic completion timelines to customers.
- Estimates and Invoicing:_
- Provide customers with accurate estimates for repairs, ensuring transparency and no surprises.
- Generate and manage service orders, ensuring accurate billing and timely processing of payments.
- Customer Communication and Follow-up:_
- Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their vehicle while in the shop.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction after service completion, address any concerns, and build long-term relationships.
- Handle customer concerns professionally, aiming to resolve them to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Sales and Customer Retention:_
- Promote the NAPA Autopro brand and customer loyalty programs.
- Educate customers on the importance of preventive maintenance and how it impacts the lifespan and performance of their vehicles.
- Help drive business growth by ensuring high customer satisfaction and by securing repeat service business.

**Skills Required**:

- Some knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repairs (e.g., brakes, tires, engine diagnostics, air conditioning).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interactions with customers, technicians, and other staff
- Think quickly on your feet and make decisions that are in the best interest of both the customer and the business.
- Ability to work well within a team, coordinating closely with technicians, managers, and customers.
- Computer savvy and forward thinking.
- Experience with automotive service management software and point-of-sale systems is an asset.
- Familiarity with the NAPA brand, its services, parts, and products, is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
