Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Facilitator to join our team. As a Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing in person programs for clients and children. This is an important role that requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work with diverse populations, and a passion for serving people in need.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with clients, visitors and associates in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Adhere to policies and procedures, which may be developed and implemented from time to time and in accordance with funding contracts as required.
- Conduct client interviews and process intakes.
- Develop, implement, facilitate and update Indigenous Wellness Parenting Program and classes.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
- Co-ordinate cultural and social activities, including food purchase, preparation and cleanup.
- Maintain program records, files and reports as required.
- Advocate for client families and provide referrals; follow-up with prospective families.
- Actively participate in staff development, team meetings and team building activities and maintain good team communication.
- Search and update knowledge on community resources that would benefit clients and provide referrals accordingly.
- Role model appropriate interaction with children within the program.
- Follow the Alberta Health and Safety Standards.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., addictions, child development, psychology, social work, education)
- Experience working with adults and children
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

1. Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Intervention Record Check.

2. Required to work flexible hours as determined by Program Manager.

3. Must possess a Class 5 Driver’s License, possess a clean driving record and have the ability for occasional travel for the program.
