**DEPARTMENT**:
The Fundraising department aims to develop and implement strategies to increase the funding income of Islamic Relief through a range of fundraising initiatives and through acquisition and retention of donors, volunteers and community supporters.

**JOB PURPOSE**:

- He/she will be responsible for supporting the fundraising team through the time of the contract with all administrative tasks associated with campaign activities, including brand awareness, while overseeing major fundraising campaigns at Islamic Relief.

**SCOPE**:

- Cross-departmental coordination on national campaigns related to the fundraising department
- Ensuring the effective delivery of fundraising initiatives locally and nationally
- Dealing with related logístical issues and ensuring that all deliverables are available

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist Fundraising Operations Manager on national fundraising campaigns through submission of requests, recording feedback, coordination with different stakeholders, and coordinating with various departments across the organization
- Support team with developing systems and processes to improve inefficiencies
- Support with the logistics of crowdfunding pages
- Support team in tracking profit/loss after events and campaigns
- Prepare content and reports for event promotion and stewardship reports
- Lead in planning and organizing regional, national and/or international campaigns (ie. Charity Week Canada, Qurbani, Ramadan)
- Assist with Challenges logistics including planning, coordination and participating in the execution of activities
- Lead national domestic projects supporting vulnerable communities across Canada (ie. Back to School Kits, Qurbani meat packs, Winter Warmth Kits, Refugee Hygiene Kits)
- Assist with providing updates on domestic and/or global projects funded by community organizations, donors, and institutions that can be shared with the community by the National team
- Assist with overseeing business and/or influencer accounts
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**:

- Strong leadership skills; one that takes initiative and is able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong verbal communication skills; work with over 30+ members across Canada, several departments in the organization, and external national/international vendors
- Excellent presentation skills; share and implement new ideas, processes and systems
- Strong motivation and empathy towards the aims and objectives of the organization
- Numerical skills; gather quantitative data, submit order requests, process payment requests
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and pay attention to detail
- Competent with G-suite and project management tools
- Strong organizational skills i.e. ability to prioritize and plan work, set and achieve deadlines, establish and maintain monitoring systems, etc
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to changes

**Other**:

- Current local driving license and access to a vehicle as you will be required to come to office from time to time or travel to other cities to oversee campaign logistics
- Have a flexible approach to work in order to accommodate events, functions and work activity
- Willingness to travel nationally at short notice
