**Grind Line Operator**, you will take pride in knowing you helped create quality products that are enjoyed by customers internationally.

The Grind Line Operator is where it all begins. This position is responsible for feeding materials into the Grind Line equipment and removing the finished product. The crumb rubber that comes out of the Grind Line is what our press operators use to make our parts
- Safety shoes are required._

**Your Responsibilities**:
A typical day in this position will begin with starting up the grind line equipment. Throughout the shift, operators will load/unload materials as needed and pay extreme attention to the operations of the line. If any issues arise, shut down of the line must be completed quickly and safely to avoid damaging the equipment.
- Meet with previous shift to be briefed on any issues or memos about the equipment
- Learn the start-up and shut down SOPs for the line
- Perform daily lift truck and front-end loader pre-operation inspections and complete accompanying paperwork
- Operate front-end loader and lift truck to feed the line and remove the finished product
- Troubleshoot any mechanical malfunctions on the line
- Monitor the line with extreme attention to detail to ensure safe and proper operation
- Maintain tidy work area
- Communicate with operations manager to understand production needs
- Communicate with maintenance department on large-scale mechanical issues
- Other duties as needed

**Your Qualifications**:

- Experience operating a front-end loader an asset
- Mechanical knowledge/experience required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem-solve
- Ability to work and think under pressure
- Good housekeeping skills

**Working Conditions**:

- Exposure to the elements (heat, humidity, cold temperatures), dust, and debris
- Frequent trips outside on the lift truck or loader
- On and off lift truck or loader frequently
