We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time **Saddle Stitch Operator**

This role is based at our plant in Scarborough, and reports to the Shift Supervisor. Working hours are **Monday to Friday from 8:30AM- 4:30PM.** Some overtime is required.

**Job Summary**

We are currently looking for a Saddle Stitch Operator to set-up, adjust, and safely operate the saddle stitching machines (Muller Martini Bravo, Prima Saddle Stitcher, and/ or Osako Saddle Stitcher).

**Responsibilities**
- Reviewing job tickets and planning work processes to meet customer specifications.
- Setting up the assigned machine(s) according to specifications.
- Monitoring assigned machine(s) during the run to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshooting machine problems, resolving if possible; notifying Supervisor/ Management.
- Making electrical and mechanical repairs to Stitching and Folding machinery/ equipment.
- Feeding materials into the equipment to assist assigned Feeder position.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workstation based on 5S system.
- Other duties will be assigned.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2- 3 years of Saddle Stitching experience (any kind).
- Basic communication in English (written and verbal) required.
- Excellent ability to **follow instructions and attention** to detail.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
