**INTRO**:
**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Based at the Macassa Site, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an **Electrical Planner **to join our Maintenance team.

The Macassa Mine is a high-grade gold producer, with grade improving at depth, and a key valuation driver for Agnico Eagle. Located in the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, the Macassa Mine remains on the highest gold grade mines in the world. Macassa commenced operations in 2002, and with the discovery of the South Mine Complex has been able to increase its level of production significantly over the past five years. The mine is located in an area with well-developed infrastructure, including a provincial highway, a railway system and a private airport. High-grade ore is processed at the Macassa Mill, which currently has available capacity and is located in close proximity to the mine.

The **Electrical Planner **will be responsible for improving equipment reliability, assisting with project plans and to ensure legislative requirements are compiled and documented for electrical equipment on site.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop standard PM templates for jobs that are repetitive where they need only one time planning
- Establish preventative monitoring programs and associated PM’s to improve plant and equipment availability.
- Predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling
- Oversee cataloguing of site based maintenance of equipment information and repair files
- Preform work order repairs and adjustments
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance of all light vehicles and mobile equipment
- Prepare budget costings as required for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Report to Maintenance Superintendent on maintenance KPIs on daily and weekly basis.
- Produce monthly reports on maintenance KPIs, costs, spares availability, looming issues
- Produce 12 month rolling shut downs plan on monthly basis.
- Provide coverage in a supervisory role when required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Maintenance Technician / technologist
- Certified electrical trades person or a combination of schooling ( Graduate of College Maintenance program) and work experience
- Computer literate with specific knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word, Access and MS Project would be an asset.
- 5 years of maintenance planning related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Ability to write detailed reports as well as good verbal communication
- Underground, hoisting plant and mill related equipment experience is an asset
