The Area Sales Manager is responsible for selling Partake by maintaining and expanding the customer base, working with distributors, and supporting events, demos, and marketing effort.

Responsible for driving growth in their territory to achieve annual growth targets thru growing distributions points, managing all aspects of the territory including accounts and distributors and working autonomously to establish, develop, and grow a strong base of on and off premise accounts.

Responsible for aspects of the territory including account visits, in market activation and representing the brand both internally andexternally in the territory while delivering exceptional consumer, distributor and retailer engagement.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- **OVERALL**:

- Responsible for growing and accelerating territory points of distribution to achieve growth targets
- Responsible for all aspects of assigned sales territory
- Work autonomously to establish, develop, and grow a strong base of on-premise and off-premise accounts
- Complete daily account visit reports, monthly expense reports, and other surveys and reports as required
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and transparency by providing immediate feedback to team members through coaching, training, and mentorship
- ** At Retail Level**:

- Identify and successfully sell to new customers
- Develop proposals for prospective customers and deliver sales presentations
- Secure distribution, display and secondary space, shelf space, and share of cold box
- Improve Partake’s position to either #1 or #2 in every account
- Secure a second point of distribution in the store, building displays, end caps, resetting cold boxes, and increasing visibility through point-of-sale
- Maintain positive business relationships and communication with account owners, managers, and buyers
- Provide excellent customer service by developing a regular route and call pattern to book displays, place permanent point of sale, plan promotional activities, offer after-sale follow-through, and provide Partake and Non Alc education
- Introduce and sell in new flavors and packages as and when launched, including activities to support sell-through
- Create and implement programs designed on & off premise accounts
- **
At Distributor Level**:

- With support from the National Sales Director, oversee customer and distributor relationships
- Work with distributors to build awareness of our portfolio and programming
- Assist in distributor education on Partake and Non Alc category in general
- Partner with distributors to ensure the fulfillment of accounts’ needs.
- Work with distributor reps to open new accounts; sell in incremental SKUs and packages by riding long
- Manage POS needs and placement within the territory.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

**Experiance & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 1-2 years in sales/territory management for CPG and/or beverage/beer experience
- Cross functional experience in trade marketing is preferred
- Takes personal responsibility for decisions, delivering results and exceeding expectations
- High-energy, enthusiastic, self-motivated, self-disciplined, competitive, assertive, and goal-oriented self-starter with the desire to succeed
- Be able to work independently and also collaboratively with the rest of the sales, marketing and operations teams to accomplish goals
- Be able to manage a territory from a home-office base
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
- Be able to travel daily and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends and participate in evening and weekend promotions and assist with special events as necessary
- Have a registered, insured, and dependable vehicle, as well as a safe driving record and valid driver’s license
- The ability to drive to and from accounts regularly
- Have a valid passport and be able to travel both within the USA and Canada
- Ability to comfort
