We are currently recruiting for a quick learner and fast paced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to be part of our high performing Human Resources team - this a short term contract opportunity with a focus on career development with our TA Team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for Hourly Talent Acquisition process:
- Coordinate/Manage recruitment with agency partners with hourly roles
- schedule interviews, follow up on open roles, draft offers
- Verify applicant documentation, create offers and support the creation of announcements
- Prepare and post vacant positions within Give & Go on multiple hiring sites and on college hiring portals
- Coordinate and perform Human Resources orientation and onboarding for new hires and ensure completion of all onboarding documentation including employee file
- Maintain required TA process tracking and reporting
- Provide recommendations for new hourly talent sourcing markets/pools
- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining vacancy trackers regarding status/ATS, create reports and dashboards regarding talent acquisition to ensure continued improvement within recruitment activities
Recipe for success:
- Completion of college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Previous 1-year experience working within a Human Resources department
- Preferred Completion of university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Preferred previous experience working within a Human Resources department within the manufacturing industry
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
- Familiar with applicable employment legislation
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and project management skills
- Must be able to meet project deadlines, with good sense of urgency and follow through
- Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
