Godin Productions is currently seeking a full-time Pre-press Operator to join our team, for a long-term opportunity with lots of room to grow and advance within the company. We will provide training and support as required to grow your skill set. This position requires a reliable and a self-motivated individual that is organized, hard-working and detail oriented.

**Position Summary**:Overview: using the Adobe Creative Suite and in-house workflow software to prepare, check, troubleshoot, manipulate, and layout print ready files for production

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- **Pre-flight files for**:_
- Check resolution of images for high quality printing.
- Ensure bleed, knockouts, and other parameters noted on die lines have been followed.
- Correct any discrepancies between supplied artwork and die lines.
- Re-package files.
- **Pre-press**:_
- Layout artwork to create efficiencies in file processing time, consumed materials, etc.
- Layout artwork for various material sizes and thicknesses according to production schedule.
- Add bleed to files for finishing considerations.
- Adjust colour and perform colour matching using RIP software, as required.
- Set ink densities for required coverage.

**Skills Required**:

- 3-5 years’ experience, pre-press / print production experience.
- Experience using industry workflow software, ideally understanding of Agfa Asanti software.
- Fluent with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience preparing, manipulating, troubleshooting files for wide format printing.
- Experience using Artios Software, a bonus.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
