Grade 10 Math Tutor

We provide Reading, Writing, Science, Math, French and Special Education support for K-12 students. As a TeachItRight Tutor, you will have the flexibility to set your own hours and create your own lessons and activities, all while working from the comfort of your clients' homes The classroom is a busy place, and after-school sessions provide the perfect opportunity for students to engage in meaningful extra practice with a positive role model such as yourself. **Job Duties**:

- Create engaging and meaningful lessons and activities for your students based on their Student Learning Profile
- Differentiate learning material and lesson outcomes based on your students needs
- Assess student progress on a continual basis and modify lessons and activities when needed
- Establish and maintain a positive rapport with your students and their families
- Communicate openly and effectively with the CEO of TeachItRight, your students, and your students families
- Have fun being a positive mentor and creating meaningful change in your community

**How We Support You**:

- Flexible Hours: _
- At TeachItRight, you will have the ability to choose your own hours and work from the comfort of your clients’ home. Tutoring occurs Monday through Friday from 4:00-6:30 PM with some weekends available.
- Hours are distributed on a first come first serve basis. The more open availability you have and your willingness to commute will greatly increase your chances of getting the hours you are looking for.
- Curriculum Support: _
- We provide all Tutors with a _Tutor_ _Welcome Package_ which includes tips and tricks, resources and sample activities. You are supported throughout your entire time with us
- Check Ins :_
- We check in on you throughout your time with us You are not just hired and forgotten about. We provide you with the autonomy to do your job, but we are always here to support you.
- Retention Bonus:_
- We value your loyalty. Each school year that you continue as a TeachItRightTutor, you will receive a 2% hourly raise.
- Mileage Bonus:_
- We always offer you positions that are closest to you. In the event that a job exceeds certain mileage parameters, you will be offered compensation. You only accept the positions that you want
- **Required**:_
- You must have reliable transport. Due to tutoring jobs being offered in different parts of the city, access to a vehicle is highly recommended.
- You must be enrolled in a University Program or are a University graduate
- This job is for In-Person Tutoring only
- This position involves supporting a **Grade 10 Math student** and **Science support starting in February**.
