About the Role

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized tutoring sessions in **Grade 8 Math** and **Grade 6 English**.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and goals.
- Reinforce classroom learning with practical exercises, homework help, and skill-building activities.
- Maintain a supportive, encouraging, and structured learning environment.
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of middle school level Math and English (Grade 6-8).
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred (formal or informal).
- Ability to travel to the student’s home in Westboro, Ottawa.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in communication.
- Patient, encouraging, and able to engage younger learners.

Schedule
- Flexible scheduling; sessions to be arranged directly with the family.
