**What You'll Do**:

- Work and interact directly with seed canola growers in the summer
- Activities related to seed canola production, management of grower relations, supervision of planting
- Perform tasks associated with harvest, conditioning and treat/packaging, some general repair and maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
- Harvest activities from receiving to storage
- Conditioning activities such as cleaning and sizing, treating and packaging, palletizing, wrapping and sampling
- Shipping/receiving, interplant movement, rework, warehousing, and inventory management of bagged and bulk seed, including the safe operation of forklifts
- Compliance with Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirements
- Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports such as quality, safety, grower, and inventory records.

**Qualifications**:** What Skills You Need**:

- You have your High School Diploma/GED OR are willing and able to obtain your GED within 1 year of hire as a condition of employment.
- Knowledge of production agriculture
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing conditions and anticipate needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, reliability, work accuracy, and timeliness
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Compliant and engaged with safe work mindset and behavior
- Competent computer skills
- Willingness to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, dry, and dusty conditions
- Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting for extended periods
- Position involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willing and able to work overtime/weekend/holiday work when needed
- Willing and able to work shift work
