The Recruiting Officer role is a diverse position with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and/or skills in recruitment, benefit administration, HR records management and organizational development initiatives.

**Responsibilities (Recruitment)**:
Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
Create and post job opportunities using various media
Coordinate and participate in the interview and selection process
Conduct reference checks and any internal testing
Send offers of employment
Coordinate start dates and conduct orientation training
**Responsibilities (Administration)**:
Create new employee files
Create new employee accounts in our HRIS (BambooHR)
Manage training document sign offs in HRIS
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Respond to external HR requests
**Qualifications**:
1 year of Recruitment experience preferred (a combination of experience and schooling will be considered)
Post-secondary education in Business Administration
Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess personal attributes
Ability to work in a team or independently
Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
Sound decision making and judgement
Strong organizational skills
Dedicated, ethical & confidential
3rd party collections experience considered an asset
