**About the Role**

The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in maintaining the Tejano experience every day. This position combines hands-on operational oversight with people leadership, ensuring that every shift runs smoothly, every guest leaves happy, and every team member feels supported.

Previous experience in supervising or managing restaurant teams is highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead by example on the floor by bringing energy, positivity, and professionalism to every shift.
- Support the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, training, scheduling, and system implementation.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards, ensuring each guest interaction reflects Tejano’s hospitality values.
- Handle weekend management, opening/closing duties, and POS reporting.
- Oversee client experience, line setup, and cleanliness according to Tejano standards.
- Assist with staff onboarding and training, reinforcing Tejano’s service culture and operational systems.
- Help track and manage inventory, checklists, and waste control.
- Take initiative in problem-solving, whether it’s a guest concern, operational issue, or scheduling challenge.

**Who You Are**
- Bilingual (English and French) - required.
- High-energy and people-oriented; you naturally motivate others and bring life to the floor.
- Experienced in hospitality, fast-casual, or restaurant management.
- Organized, proactive, and reliable; you take ownership and follow through.
- Comfortable with technology (POS systems, scheduling apps, etc.).
- Available to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
