**The Role**

As the **Landscape Supervisor**, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of landscape installation projects, both softscape and hardscape. You’ll lead a dedicated crew, oversee all aspects of construction, and play a pivotal role in delivering results that exceed client expectations. This is your chance to showcase your leadership skills, expertise in hardscape/softscape, and passion for creating outdoor spaces

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning and Coordination**:

- Collaborate on a regular basis with the company owner to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Execute work plans and schedules for the construction crew.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise a team of 2-3 people.
- Provide guidance and support to crew members, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

**Hardscape Installation**:

- Lead the installation of various hardscape elements, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, wood fences and outdoor structure in general.
- Ensure proper construction techniques and methods are employed.

**Softscape Installation**:

- Lead the planting of trees, shrubs, and other landscaping elements.
- Ensure proper soil preparation and planting techniques.

**Equipment Operation**:

- Class 5 licence and experience driving a truck and trailer.
- Operate construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, and compactors.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and adheres to design specifications.
- Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure crew members are trained on proper safety procedures.

**Client Interaction**:

- Communicate with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Ensure client satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality construction services.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of proven experience in landscape construction, with a focus on hardscape and softscape installations.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience managing a landscaping crew.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Proficient in operating construction equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.

**Education and Certification**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications in construction management or landscaping are a plus).

**Experience**:

- Landscape Construction: 3 years (required)
- Leading a crew: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Class 5 Driver's License (required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
