Nature of position: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

Wage: $57,000 per annum

Vacation: Three (3) weeks

Language required: English, spoken and written

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscapers.
- Plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for projects and jobs.
- Establish work schedules and train workers as required.
- Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs, and hedges, and the construction and installation of fences, and installation of walkways and retaining walls.
- Requisition materials.
- Perform landscaping duties, including the planning and construction of landscaped environments, the movement and positioning of landscape materials; the movement and installation of pavers and bricks, mowing lawns, planting, pruning, watering and treating trees, bushes, lawns and flowers, snow removal, and other related duties.

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:

- Completion of secondary school.
- At least one year of experience, supported by references, as a landscaper, or as a landscaping supervisor, or in a combination of the two roles.
- A level of physical fitness sufficient to perform the job duties.
- Applicant must be well-organized, professional and pay attention to detail.
- Demeanor and attitude appropriate for a client facing position.
