The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

**Individual responsibilities**- Effectively plan for workforce needs, including succession, while respecting the capital and operating budgets.
- Establish the necessary training plan for employee development.
- Provide coaching to supervisors in setting goals and compensation, reviewing performance and developing a skills development plan for all employees.
- Provide labor relations management and continuous improvement interventions.
- Implement company policies and business processes.
- Provide coaching and support to managers in managing employees and achieving business objectives.
- Ensure the assignment of an SU for each process and certification.
- Ensure SUs are trained and proficient in the processes.
- Ensure the training of key positions for each business process.

- Have an understanding of Cascades' customers and partners and the role of your units.
- Have knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and the ability to integrate them into your management.
- Ability to accompany and advise business partners in the analysis of their needs and the search for solutions, and ease in interpersonal relations
- Ability to analyze the performance indicators of your unit to establish priority actions in human resources.
- Ability to build and support a customer-focused culture based on a human approach.
