HR Business Advisor (HR Consultant), Audit & Assurance - British Columbia Join KPMG Canada in the Audit & Assurance team in British Columbia as an HR Business Advisor (HR Consultant). This is a Manager level role. Overview At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities worldwide. This role supports the British Columbia region, working closely with the Functional HR Leader and Lead HR Business Advisor to implement and operationalize key people initiatives. What You Will Do Support implementation of talent strategies and plans aligned with business needs. Provide support on the HR annual process including Global People Survey, engagement initiatives, pay planning, performance management, and talent reviews. Develop and maintain relationships with Functional Leaders and People Leaders to execute accountabilities and implement HR programs. Create and implement employee engagement plans based on qualitative employee data. Provide research, reporting, and presentation support on HR topics, trends, and initiatives. Act as trusted advisor to leaders on diversity and inclusion and embed these principles into processes. Partner with Centres of Excellence such as Total Rewards, Inclusion and Diversity, or Employee Relations. Assist in addressing sensitive and confidential employee issues. Participate in HR and People initiatives as part of project teams. What You Bring To The Role Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and post‑secondary diploma or certificate in HR. 3+ years of experience in Human Resources within a fast‑paced corporate environment; professional services experience preferred. Strong business acumen and ability to manage competing priorities. Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and be viewed as a trusted advisor. Excellent organizational and detail‑oriented skills in a changing environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team‑orientated, self‑starter who identifies problems and suggests solutions. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. CPHR designation awarded or in process considered an asset. KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range is $74,000 to $111,000 and may include bonus awards. Salary determination is based on location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
