Ecommerce Growth Marketing Lead

**Job Summary**
TallGrass is looking for a motivated and results-driven Ecommerce Growth Marketer to fast-track our company’s growth. As Ecommerce Growth Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for managing the online sales channels and customer acquisition funnel. You will manage and support activities across all stages of the ecommerce ecosystem: Adding more channels, customer acquisition, ads, retention, and up-selling.
Working cross-functionally with the product management, design, and marketing teams, you will design and implement data-driven growth initiatives while periodically reporting to the Director of Ecommerce. You will monitor and manage our social media and web analytics and develop insightful reports for teams and superiors

**Critical Success Factors/Outcomes**
- Develop and oversee the implementation of growth marketing campaigns, with a focus on content marketing through Amazon, DTC, Other Channels
- Develop a unified approach to the company’s overall marketing efforts in collaboration with the ecommerce, social media, procurement, and design teams
- Forecasting and Planning based on changing market conditions
- Hiring and developing the best talent
- Identifying the process excellence opportunities to improve the process and reduce OPEX.
- Stay on top of the latest trends and emergent issues in our industry (business model changes, new tools, products, and features)
- Increase the efficiency of online sales through research on market trends, consumer behavior, and cost-benefit analysis. Provide data-driven suggestions to develop the business.
- Leverage analytic tools (BI tools, Amazon Analytics, Google Analytics, Semrush, Similarweb, and Google Trends) during market research to find ways to enhance the company’s marketing efforts
- Compile performance reports to brief executive leadership on growth initiatives and performance and provide recommendations on improvement strategies
- Develop and execute the growth plan in conjunction with the senior executive team
- Identify opportunities to implement and then innovate world-class campaigns
- Identify and develop channel opportunities with technology partners
- Identify more ecommerce sales channels to grow the business
- Identify options for affiliate marketing
- Report, recommend and iterate on campaigns to drive increased ROI
- Run AB / MVT experiments
- Working closely with data, sales and content
**Competencies**:
- Master’s degree in marketing or a related field required
- At least 5 years of experience in a marketing or sales leadership role
- Proven track record of successful growth campaigns
- Expertise with SEO and analytical tools for marketers, such as Google Analytics, Google Trends, and Semrush, Similarweb, Jungle Scout
- Being comfortable with working in a dynamic and diverse remote environment
- Experience with project management software (Clickup, Asana)

- A strong understanding and passion for all things digital marketing
- A highly creative, data-driven and analytical mind.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Amazon Marketplace, Shopify apps, website analytical tools
- Understanding of Amazon Integrations
- A willingness to fail-forward, learn and grow
- Self-learner and great at research
- Advanced Excel Skills
