**Inspired **produces innovative, fresh and healthy, ready-to-eat items for Canadian retail and Foodservice companies. Our state-of-the-art processing facility, use of premium ingredients, and chef inspired recipes has elevated fresh-cut to the next level. We are a dynamic & forward thinking company looking to expand our current product offering. We will continue to create new Inspired items for the Canadian market.

**Focus**

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall management of Inspired Greens manufacturing.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead the efficient and effective production of fresh cut value added vegetable products
- Coordination and ability to interact with other departments (Sale, Inventory, Maintenance, HR, etc.)
- Creating, Reporting, and Follow up on KPIs
- Strong communication and support of production & procurement staff to ensure proper production flow
- Accountable for ensuring labor and yield targets are met
- Accountable for all production planning and scheduling
- Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment and ensure that safe work practices are being followed
- Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and termination
- Administer disciplinary action in accordance with established procedures
- Analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement
- Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and delegating work accordingly
- Develop strategic performance metrics and targets that are consistent with company goals
- Ensure employees have clear goals and are aware of expectations
- Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Ensure that all staff under your direction are equipped with and are using the proper personal protective equipment
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and formal evaluations
- Handle customer complaints and comments
- Maintain shift schedules to ensure sufficient employee coverage
- Translate strategic goals into practical actions
- Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and hazardous materials
- Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations

**Education and Experience**:

- Degree or diploma in a related field an asset
- Two years of experience in a Leadership role, and four years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Proven experience with resource management

**Working Conditions**
- Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Frequent overtime
- Interaction with employees, management, customers and the public at large
- Hours may be irregular and in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
- Work outside ordinary office hours (including weekends and holidays) may be required.
