We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Accounting Assistant to join our Treasury Services, Finance team in Langley, BC.
- This temporary position is expected to last 15 months._

Reporting to the Team Lead, Treasury Services, you will be responsible for working with and supporting the Treasury Services team with a focus on Cash Up and Accounts Receivable business processes and administrative duties.

You will be responsible for:

- Preparing daily and monthly reconciliations.
- Reviewing daily sales.
- Troubleshooting POS software issues.
- Liaising with retail stores to provide support to cash offices.
- Preparing journal entries and other accounting duties as required.
- Completing billing and collections for Accounts Receivables.
- Processing and set-up of corporate credit accounts.
- Performing ad-hoc reconciliations and other administrative tasks as required.

You have:

- Completed or are currently enrolled in a recognized accounting diploma program OR equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of related accounting experience, ideally within a retail environment.
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles (i.e. debits and credits).

You are:

- A strong written and oral communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented with attention to accuracy.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Able to process high volumes of data and meet deadlines, with proven time management skills.

Compensation Details:
$42,000.00 - $52,500.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
