**Business Development Strategist**

Our Business Development Strategist NEVER say, “That can’t be done” - they take on the challenge and figure out how to make it work within the scope of the project.
This role has two distinct parts: 1) Sales and 2) Project Management. You will work very closely with the founder and are a key player in the success of closing new sales opportunities and executing tech projects from idea all the way to delivery.

Does this sound like you?*
- An entrepreneur at heart and/or have minimum 2 years experience in startup/tech sales.
- Have a post-graduate education. Qualification in Business, Engineering, Project Management or similar are very welcome. Not a requirement, but certainly helps.
- Have previous experience as a consultant in business, tech or similar, leading projects in tech.
- Love blockchain, crypto, digital wallets and what the metaverse can deliver.
- Enjoy working from home full-time. We’re 100% remote.
- Enjoy working independently, managing your own time but still able to be a high-performer.
- Be resourceful and unafraid to ask for help, dig for solutions without being asked to do so.
- Able to prioritize, work fast and get it done. We’re not gonna lie - the workload is high and things tend to move fast. So, you’re not afraid to work hard?
- Be competitive - with the will to want to win. Always be selling
- Enjoy presenting to potential customers and internal teams on Zoom with your camera on for a large part of the day.
- Consider yourself to be creative in creating business solutions and financial deals/partnerships that are compelling for clients _and_ our investors.
- Enjoy drawing up high-end proposal decks and comfortable “winging it” with a client.
- Enjoy chaos. A lot of what we do requires a last minute “tuck ‘n roll”.

**A day on the job**:
- Lead conversations with
- and create brief business proposals for tech customers and partner companies: business story, value propositions, financial forecasts
- Lead internal team calls with project teams where you are the project manager
- Connect daily with finance, contracts, ops and leadership teamLead weekly client meetings and strategic sessions for project updates
- Review contracts and follow up relentlessly on outstanding items to close sales and move projects along for on-time delivery
- Update the CRM daily with sales activities, schedule follow-ups and lead the Business Development team to move prospects down the sales pipeline
- Responding in real-time to urgent requests. Save the team when we’ve dropped the ball. This is real life - sometimes stuff happens.
- Living in Asana, Gmail, Zoom and Slack to manage communications and tasks
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve operational objectives by leading teams through a proprietary strategic planning process and implementing other project management methodology where needed.
- Work across a variety of teams and be a central point of contact.
- Implements production, productivity, quality standards.
- Hold teams accountable and ensure they are meeting their deadlines using Asana
- Report to the executive, providing updates on progress making the team aware of possible roadblocks.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions for teams across the entire company ensuring that strategic initiatives align with that of the executive and board mandate
- Work within RIPKIT to report and track project progress with clients
- Prepare quarterly reports for the executive team on progress for use at the board level
