We pride ourselves in providing quality products and services to our customers. **The Role**: If you are a highly skilled, motivated CNC Machine Operator / Apprentice looking for a stable job, where you will be challenged, where your skills, work ethic, innovation and creativity will shine, Stevested is the machine shop for you **Is this the right fit for YOU**: - 2+ years’ experience as a CNC Machine Operator / Apprentice - **Your ability to work an Afternoon shift (Monday - Thursday 12:30PM-10:30PM)**: - Experience and direct knowledge in: operating CNC machines to tight tolerances, accurately interpreting drawings & blueprints, working with geometric dimensions and tolerances to plan machining - Meeting production goals in terms of cycle time and quality - Ensuring compliance with our quality standards & procedures - Troubleshooting machining problems during processes to ensure efficiency of procedures - Achieving Company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value - Good communication skills to include written/oral English and works well in a team environment - Highly motivated, self-driven, and ability to work well independently and with supervision - Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events, and high production pressure - Maintains safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations - Maintaining continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs - Being punctual and reliable to attend work for a minimum of 40 hours per week - Performing maintenance, housekeeping duties, and other duties as assigned - Must be able to obtain Controlled Goods Clearance - Must have reliable transportation - NO access to public transit **What we offer YOU**: - Stable and reliable work - A Family owned and operated business who cares about you - No boring, repetitive production work.
