_**Title**_:_ Part-Time Medical Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Munk Hearing Centre (Hearing Aid Clinic) at Toronto General Hospital
- **Organizational Relationship**_**: Reports to manager
- **Hours of Work**:_ Part-time (8:00am-4:00pm; 7.0 hours with 1.0 hour unpaid lunch; days per weeks are flexible)
- **Position**:_ Permanent
- **Pay**:_From $20 per hour

**Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Providing excellent customer service (i.e. scheduling appointments, welcoming patients, answering phone/returning calls, answering queries from patients, confirming clinic appointments)
- Providing administrative support for audiologists
- Processing payments, tracking outstanding balances, preparing and submitting third party billing (ADP, WSIB ODSP, OW and VAC)
- Maintaining clinic schedule using Blueprint OMS and EPIC
- Performing basic hearing aid maintenance/cleaning
- Processing hearing aid repairs and subsequent follow-up
- Maintaining electronic health records
- Preparing patient charts; filing and maintaining charts
- Arranging couriers for sending packages to manufacturers; receiving goods
- Ensuring space is tidy

**General responsibilities**:

- Maintaining an amicable, discreet, and co-operative relationship with patients as well as with departmental staff and the staff of all other departments and units, regardless of position
- Maintaining an amiable relationship with outside referral offices

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

- hearing aid front desk: 1 year (preferred)
