**Job Description**:
Essential Job Functions
- Cultivate a proactive culture of community and two-way engagement with both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Effectively shuffle between multiple brand accounts and social media channels to facilitate conversations with a wide variety of end-users.
- Track social media performance and engagement data on third party platforms (such as Similarweb, Semrush or similar) and report monthly on aggregated data with proactive suggestions for improvements.
- Respond to questions, comments, and customer queries in a timely manner.
- Escalate challenges to relevant departments within the business in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and communicate closely with the HSS social media manager as they drive content development cycles.
- Work with marketing services managers to ensure that their priorities and strategic plans are at the center of their respective brands social media messaging.
- Facilitate an ongoing relationship with customer facing sales representatives to ensure that tone and content reflect voice-of-customer, as well as the culture of the marketplace.

- Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools.
- Understanding of social media analytics and a proven ability to showcase results to stakeholders on a monthly basis in layman’s terms.

- Whit, charm, charisma, a sense of humor and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
- A passion for the vitality of spelling and grammatical accuracy.
- Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Organizational skills and project management experience.

Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office environment

Ability to lift up to 75lbs on occasion

Travel

Up to 25%

Between Canada and the US

Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Marketing, Internet Marketing, Journalism or related focus preferred.
- Three years of social media, community management and marketing experience preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully maintaining social media sites.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google analytics.
- Advanced social strategy abilities.
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tik-Tok, Pinterest, and other popular social media channels.

Additional/Preferred Requirements

Project management skills.

Ability to plan strategically.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Previous agency experience preferred.
