**Position Overview**:
As a Metal Building Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and quantities of materials required for metal building projects. You will work closely with our clients to develop comprehensive project estimates that align with client requirements and industry standards. Your keen eye for detail and ability to analyze project specifications will be essential in preparing accurate cost estimates and ensuring the profitability of each project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and technical documents to determine material and labor requirements.
- Periodically conduct on-site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate quantities, costs, and labor hours.
- Research and source materials from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material costs, labor costs, equipment costs, and overheads.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the company’s comprehensive cost database for various metal building components and assemblies.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities related to project estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to review estimates and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Provide support during the bid process, including preparing bid packages and participating in bid reviews.
- Manage projects from first contact to final completion.
- Maintain high quality relationships with clients and suppliers.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Metal Building Estimator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of metal building construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Solid understanding in the use of Microsoft Office 365
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Excellent mathematical and numerical aptitude.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating quantities and costs.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
