**Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating arrangements and maintain an organized waiting list during peak hours.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems for processing transactions.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Provide information about menu items, including food safety and handling procedures.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Support bartending duties as needed, including preparing beverages and serving drinks to customers.
- Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and service.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to customer service or food service.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience with cashiering and POS systems is highly desirable for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are crucial for providing excellent hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is necessary.
- A background in bartending is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.75-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
