The role we are offering you:
The incumbent of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning the company's objectives with those of employees and management of CAE Civil Aviation groups in Canada. The incumbent is responsible for strategic partnerships in the business units that he/she supports and for providing operational advice and support. In addition of having strong interest and skills in project management, the incumbent oversees the delivery of HR services such as talent management, engagement, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and change management. Close integration within the company and the Human Resources support team will also be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES _:_- Serve as a trusted coach and advisor, guiding leaders through challenges and instigating change within their teams- Develop a real strategic partnership in assisting managers/leaders in their daily people matters and key initiatives- Direct actions towards key stakeholders regarding disciplinary measures such as performance plans, terminations, investigations, and coordination with labor courts if required.- Engage in and support the implementation of change management plans, continuous improvement projects, and wield influence over various partners within CAE- Sustain an in-depth knowledge of employment law, compliance programs, stay abreast of current events, policies, and offer guidance to leaders.- Collaborate with managers and leaders to craft impactful strategies for retaining, engaging, and developing high-performing teams while addressing key issuesretaining, and motivating top Talent-
- Strong collaboration and relationship with Centers of Excellence (COE) and HR Business Operations- Roll out various corporate programs and initiatives within client groups.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS- Bachelor's degree in human resources.- 5-8 years of progressive experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing Human Resources environment.- Proven experience in change management combined with a business acumen.- Collaborative team player with demonstrated professional and emotional maturity and judgment to handle sensitive situations with integrity, diplomacy, tact and high ethical standards.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) combined with strong organizational and presentation skills.- The incumbent must have excellent problem-solving skills in order to act as an internal advisor and a guide for the management team and for employees with regard to all human resources-related matters.- Excellent customer service skills complemented with sound judgment and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and of human resources information systems (HRIS).
