**Compensation**: $25-30 Hourly

**Job Type**: Ongoing Part-time

**Shift Type**:20 hours per week. (Monday to Friday 1-5pm)
**Expected Start Date**: November 18, 2024

**Your Day to Day**:
Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for:

- Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
- Evaluating student performance fairly and consistently
- Contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
- Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
- Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards
- Participating in College and Program Activities
- Monitoring and reviewing students during practicum and/or clinical placements, as program requires

**What You Bring to the Table**:
To be successful in the Instructor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

- Degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Health Care Aide professional
- Strong clinical exposure and understanding of Health Care Aide is required.
- Adult education credential or teaching experience is preferred; ongoing or in-progress is acceptable.
- Meet specific position qualifications based on program design and approval.
- Demonstrated industry expertise, commitment to professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Professional attitude, high standards of behavior, and a dedication to quality service.
- Ability to collaborate with staff and provide constructive, equitable feedback to students.
- Willingness to adopt and utilize technology for enhanced learning experiences.

- Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
- Interest in pedagogical and multi-modal education approaches an asset.
